There is HOMEWORK to do before class.
Let me know when you have signed up for this class and I will give you the pattern and directions. You will be putting on the patterns and painting specific areas beforehand so make sure you allow time to get it done. We will do alot of details to finish it in class.
Please come early to set up. Painting begins promptly at the listed classtime.
Items I suggest:
Grumbacher Academy Tube Acrylics:
----Grumbacher Acrylic Starter Kit Contains 2 brushes, 2 canvases, 4 full size tubes of paint & a large palette knife($49.99,use a coupon!)
Additional Paints I suggest:
Thalo blue,burnt sienna, raw sienna, burnt umber, hookers green, paynes grey, cad red light, cad yellow medium.
(also: orange, yellow ochre, silver & gold- use mine if you don't have these.)
Additional suggested items:
--Strathmore Palette paper pad (yellow)
--Tube of tall, white bristle brushes in plastic tube. contains 20 brushes and a canvas brush holder.
- A small (metal or plastic) bent palette knife is handy. The one in the kit is too big.
--A good thin liner brush
--Any other brushes you have, flats, rakes, angles, rounds etc.
--Graphite paper (black), stylus, tape and ruler.
--paper towels
