Jewelry Making Basics Workshop
                                                                     with Pam Miller
We will create a Necklace or Bracelet and a pair of earrings to match. You will learn designing, stringing, crimping, wire looping, attaching clasps, all about the tools, findings & stringing materials.

Supplies to bring :

Tools: (individual tools are a much better quality than an inexpensive set.)
Wire cutter,   a small, good one.
Round Nose Pliers   (make sure they touch closely along the jaws),
Flat Nose Pliers    (these do not have "teeth" inside the jaws...they are smooth)
Crimping tool: (a regular size- not the Mighty crimper)
Wire:    Beadalon " 7 " Strand Wire   (any color to go with your beads- usually silver or gold.)
(this isn't regular wire- its for stringing & flexible. 19 or 49 strand costs more but is more flexible)
Beads:  Glass Beads    (any 2 or more colors /styles/shapes that you like) & spacers.
(spacers: small silver or gold beads to put in to accent your glass beads.)
How many? You judge. Packages and strands contain various amounts.
Crystals are great to add too.                     (NO tiny seed beads- please)
Findings
Jump rings (size 6mm or 7mm or an assortment pack are good)
Lobster Claw Clasp or Spring Ring clasp
Earring posts with tiny loop on or ear wires, which ever you prefer.
Not pierced? Get clip-ons that have a tiny loop on them.
Surface: A bead board is very nice to use, or bring a piece of felt, a dish towel or similar
                      material to put beads on.
Some baggies or bead box to take your loose beads home in.
A ruler, notebook & pen (& soft drink if you wish.)
